Fort Worth Stock Show Results

Two breeders in the county competed in the Breeding Cattle portion of the Fort Worth Livestock Show.  Pullen Hereford Ranch exhibited a polled yearling bull.  He stood third in his class.  This same bull was Grand Champion Polled Bull at the State Fair of Texas in the Fall of 2011.  Congratulations.







Circle M Farms took a string of Simmental and percentage Simmental cattle to Fort Worth.  Hightlights include: Champion Purebred Bull Calf with WLE Swagger and Grand Champion Percentage Bull with TK/FCC Cold Sweat

  They also were excited during the junior show as CMFM Ebonys Joy Faith stood Grand Champion Simmental Heifer of the Junior Show.  Andrew Holland bought her last year as his project.  Congratulations Andrew!




  Springer Shorthorns of Rockwall also had three entries in the Junior Shorthorn Show.  All entries faired well.  Here is one picture with Ethan Spearman with his winter 2011 heifer calf - Annie.  Ethan and Annie were 7th place in a class of 14 entries
